Gannon University (GU) is one of the country’s oldest and most prominent private institutions. The school has been in operation and development for more than 90 years, having been founded in 1925. The institution was formerly known as Gannon College of Arts and Sciences. The school’s name was officially changed to Gannon University in 1979. Gannon has a rich history, and students from both local and foreign institutions testify to its brilliance and popularity.

Enrollment Requirements for Gannon University

1. English proficiency

  • TOEFL: 70 – 79 (If a student receives a score between 69 and 70, the school will select their enrollment depending on their major. They will have to attend additional ESL lessons or study in normal classes while spending a significant amount of time learning English).
  • IELTS: 6.0 – 6.5 (as above)

2. Score

GPA of 3.0 (most STEM & Computer Science majors). Some other industries may consider a GPA of 2.8.
