Step 1: Research
It is essential that you decide the specifics of the university, subject area, and Australian city in which you wish to study.
Step 2: Apply for CoE
The application usually includes:
- Admission application form (provided by the school/university)
- Valid passport with at least 2 blank pages
- Diploma and transcripts of the most recent academic years
- IELTS/TOEFL certificate or equivalent foreign language certificates
* Depending on the study level, there may be additional document requirements.
Step 3: Prepare the application
After receiving the CoE, you need to prepare the following documents:
- 157 form for the Australian student visa. You must complete all fields, especially those about your education and work experience in Vietnam.
- Detailed relative declaration form 67: Information about your family members in Vietnam, Australia, and other countries must be fully and specifically listed.
- Passport
- 04 new photos of 4×6 cm size
- Notarized copy of household registration book with all pages
- Curriculum vitae in Vietnamese certified by local authorities
- Notarized copy of the birth certificate
- Copies of diplomas, English certificates, highest, and most recent transcripts in Vietnam
- Confirmation of enrolment from the Australian university
- Proof that you have purchased health insurance for the duration of your study in Australia
- Letter outlining your study plan in detail
- Documents demonstrating that your family’s funds are sufficient to pay for all of your study, travel, and food expenses while you are studying in Australia
Note: For students under the age of 18, a letter from your guardian is required.
