Step 1: Research

It is essential that you decide the specifics of the university, subject area, and Australian city in which you wish to study.

Step 2: Apply for CoE

The application usually includes:

  • Admission application form (provided by the school/university)
  • Valid passport with at least 2 blank pages
  • Diploma and transcripts of the most recent academic years
  • IELTS/TOEFL certificate or equivalent foreign language certificates

* Depending on the study level, there may be additional document requirements.

Step 3: Prepare the application

After receiving the CoE, you need to prepare the following documents:

  • 157 form for the Australian student visa. You must complete all fields, especially those about your education and work experience in Vietnam.
  • Detailed relative declaration form 67: Information about your family members in Vietnam, Australia, and other countries must be fully and specifically listed.
  • Passport
  • 04 new photos of 4×6 cm size
  • Notarized copy of household registration book with all pages
  • Curriculum vitae in Vietnamese certified by local authorities
  • Notarized copy of the birth certificate
  • Copies of diplomas, English certificates, highest, and most recent transcripts in Vietnam
  • Confirmation of enrolment from the Australian university
  • Proof that you have purchased health insurance for the duration of your study in Australia
  • Letter outlining your study plan in detail
  • Documents demonstrating that your family’s funds are sufficient to pay for all of your study, travel, and food expenses while you are studying in Australia

Note: For students under the age of 18, a letter from your guardian is required.
